Urinary Frequency, Causes, Signs and Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment.

. Chapters 0:00 Introduction 1:00 Causes of Frequent Urination 2:34 Symptoms of Frequent Urination 3:13 Diagnosis of Frequent Urination 3:59 Treatment of Frequent Urination Frequent urination is the need to urinate more often than usual. Diuretics are medications that will increase urinary frequency. Nocturia is the need of frequent urination at night.[1] The most common cause of urinary frequency for women and children is a urinary tract infection. The most common cause of urinary frequency in older men is an enlarged prostate.[2] Frequent urination is strongly associated with frequent incidents of urinary urgency, which is the sudden need to urinate. It is often, though not necessarily, associated with urinary incontinence and polyuria (large total volume of urine). However, in other cases, urinary frequency involves only normal volumes of urine overall.[3][citation needed]

Clean Catch Urine for Urine Analysis

Kathy explains the best practice to get an uncontaminated urine sample.

What The Color of Your Urine Says About Your Health

The color of human urine has been very useful in diagnosing diseases for centuries, since changes in our urine’s color, density, or odor, may indicate that something isn’t right with our body. Every day, we expel tons of residue through our urine that comes from what we eat and drink. However, urine can also be used to alert us to a health problem, since it changes color and odor whenever something isn't right. When you're healthy, your urine is yellow, almost transparent. Its characteristic color comes from a pigment called urobilin. Our normal urine transports these urobilins which are diluted in water and give our urine this yellow, almost see-through color. That indicates an adequate level of hydration. If our urine’s color gets more intense, it might mean we’re dehydrated. However, if your urine is too clear, and you constantly feel the need to urinate, it might be water intoxication, or hyper hydration. That happens when a person drinks too much water. Your urine could also be other colors. Here is what they could indicate about your health: 1. Dark yellow urine 2. Orange urine 3. Red or pink urine 4. Blue urine 5. Green urine 6. Brown urine 7. Whitish urine There are also a few other changes in our urine that we should know about: - Foamy urine - Strong smelling urine Facebook: 🤍 Pinterest: 🤍 Disclaimer: The materials and the information contained on Natural Cures channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. Is it Bad When Your Urine is Clear?

Is it bad when your urine is clear? Dark yellow urine is a sign of bad dehydration. Yellow is normal. And mine is clear. It may simply be so diluted that it looks clear. That's not bad but a sign of proper hydration. When should I be worried? If it is red, to the ER you should head. If it is orange, what rhymes with orange? I think there is a place in Wales that rhymes with orange. If it is a mix of red and yellow, you may have an STD or UI so you're a sad fellow. What would be a mix of yellow and red? Red in urine is from blood unless you're taking some really funky drugs. Orange is usually a sign of internal bleeding from a bladder infection or STD pustules that broke, but it can be from some meds. Then my clear urine is a relief. It's a sign of something healthy. I don't know if it is healthy. It is a sign that there's nothing wrong like blood loss. If it is cloudy and clear, you could still have a bacterial infection. Lovely. No, gross. And clear but burning can be a sign of an STD or urinary tract infection in the early stages. Does it always lead to bleeding? No, but bleeding is always bad. And if you can't pee, that's cause to go to the ER. Why would that be an emergency? If you have asthma, the inflammation can constrict the airways. How bad does an internal infection have to be so that your pipes close up? OK, that's an emergency. But if you have clear urine but you know you are dehydrated, then you probably have diabetes. Oh, great, now I can panic. If it is green, it's because you had too much asparagus. If you have blue urine, you might have gotten it from medications. That's a rainbow I never hope to see.

How to Clean Pee & Stains off a Mattress with Baking Soda & Vinegar Properly

This is how you clean a mattress with baking soda and vinegar. By using a bit of baking soda and your vacuum cleaner, you can effectively clean and freshen your mattress in just a couple of hours! This process will eliminate moisture, odors, dirt, dust mites, and other unwelcome substances, without any harsh chemicals or lingering fumes. How to clean urine from mattress? Use a dry towel, cloth, or paper towels to lightly blot up the excess urine, then strip the bed. Avoid rubbing the stain, as this will only spread the urine deeper into the mattress. Sprinkle baking soda onto the affected area to absorb the remaining moisture. Use a sufficient amount of stain remover to ensure that product soaks through the mattress as much as the urine would have originally soaked through. Allow to air dry. After urine odor and stain are removed, remove residue by applying a small amount of water to the area and blotting it up with a paper towel. How to clean stains out of a mattress? For a greener clean, you can try spraying the mattress with vinegar and then sprinkling the baking soda over top. Let it bubble and place a towel over it for 1-2 hours. Vacuum up any residual baking soda. -About this channel- HowToCreatorss is a YouTube channel where you can find a lot of How-To Videos, Tips and Tutorials to follow in making our daily life becoming easier. Clean Catch Urine of Specimen Collection Series with Dr. Michael Miller

Welcome to this most informative series of demonstrations of specimen collection for diagnostic microbiology. Receiving appropriately collected specimen in the laboratory is absolutely essential. This video series can provide some of the support you need for sample collection. Clean catch urine specimens from adults are likely the most common specimen we get in the microbiology lab and it is one of only 3-4 specimens that patients collect themselves. Therefore, the job of the medical staff is to verbally explain how to properly collect the specimen. In addition to verbal instructions, there should be illustrations available in the bathroom or area where the patient will collect the specimen. The videos were produced in partnership with Dr. J. Michael Miller, Director of Microbiology Technical Services, a private consulting service for diagnostic labs. Dr. Miller previously spent 35 years with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and has had a long term interest in specimen management and clinical relevance. Using the Powdered Urine To Pass a Drug Test | Product Demonstration

I've also got a 10% off Test Clear Coupon code! 🤍 Use Test Clear Coupon Code "CLEAN4ME" to save 10%! (to see the vendor's website.) 🤍 (my website) The video shows me doing a demonstration of how to use powdered urine to pass a drug test. As you can see, it's quite simple. Here is my unboxing video which gives you a better idea of how it arrives and what it looks like. 🤍 How To Pass A Drug Test Most employers now make it a point to test for known drugs such as weed and marijuana. This can be a singularly taxing problem for casual as well as hardcore users since they do not want to give up the habit and also want to stay employed while they are at it. There are a few time-tested ways to beat the dilemma and pass the drug test that is headed your way. Now there are a few main ways you will be tested and that can be through hair, saliva and blood although the most common way is urine testing. If you are working with a smaller employer they might use kits that can be bought from most supermarkets. Drug residue can be found in your hair for up to 6 months while it can be completely removed from your body and saliva in 30 days. There are ways to work with these natural processes so that you are clean faster just in time for your drug test. Bear in mind that hair and saliva tests are relatively rare and in their case it is very easy to escape a positive verdict. There are certain deep cleansing shampoos on the market which remove all evidence of weed from the new hair growth (which is the only area which will be actually tested). And saliva typically has small amounts anyway. Detoxification And Deep Cleansing • Firstly there is the slow route in which you eat only green food and exercise regularly and completely abstain from drug usage. This will take about a month and will leave no traces of the drug in your system. • THC is the main indicator that someone is using drugs and there are many herbal detox products which make you clean in less than a week but you need to double check their safety hazards and authenticity especially if you are purchasing them online. • Visit helpful websites such as which actually sell daily and weekly deep cleanses which are known to be as effective (as they can possibly be) given the time frame. So we're going to get pee out of this memory foam mattress. It actually has a layer of latex on top then memory foam. We had to test it. You just have to be careful because memory foam is like a giant sponge and the last thing you want is mold! This is a NEWER method that doesn't clog up the spray bottle. And I know you guys have kids or pets that wet the bed (or maybe you did because you got too drunk or something) and that's why you're here, but let's hear what happened here... This is my friend Ronnie's mattress and her kids peed on it - so there are urine rings on the mattress. Her husband is really scared we're going to ruin their mattress but I'm confident it's going to work. And since the first time, I've learned a few things I'll give you more tips to make this even easier. What you're going to need. I'll have the exact recipe we use down below in the video description. How to clean pee off a bed Here's what you need: Dry towel to use to get liquid up if the pee is still wet. If it's really bad then spray water on it and use a dry towel to soak it up. This is like a pre-treatment. We don't need to do that but this is what you need. Baking soda, if you have baking powder it has baking soda in it but baking soda is best Hydrogen peroxide - we used 3% Liquid dishwashing soap like Dawn, a few drops Spray bottle OPTIONAL Fan Vacuum cleaner or broom Gloves If you have wet spots then use a towel to soak up as much as possible - you'll probably want to wear gloves. But this is dried on. Before we had you mix everything in the spray bottle but no matter what you do it's going to get clogged up. So we changed it up some to make it easier. Spray with hydrogen peroxide and Dawn mixture on top Add baking soda Put fan on Wait to dry to vacuum up the residue. If you don't have a vacuum cleaner that's ok, use a broom or dust off as much of the residue as you can. Drying the Mattress You could also put your mattress outside on a sunny day, it's going to take some work if it's a king size but we want to let them sleep on this tonight and it's summer so here we go... You're not going to need to rinse this off or anything and it not only cleans the stains but it also takes out the smell. Because we all know how stinky it can be. It took a few hours (3) for this mattress to dry with the fans pointed on the wet spots. AFTER it's cleaned... Use a waterproof mattress protector. Coop is our favorite. Or an incontinence pad if it's always in the same area. We tested it with 14 cups of liquid, including about 10 of those cups real pee and it held perfectly. Now if you have a crazy household and you think the sides of your mattress might get peed on or stuff spilled on I'm going to say you need one that's waterproof on the sides too. For that we recommend the Idle waterproof mattress protector. Please share with your friends if they need to get urine off their mattress! how to clean memory foam mattress

What The Color Of Your Urine Says About Your Health

What the color of your urine says about your health. If you’re ever concerned about your urine color, you’ve reached the right place. You’ll find the types of urine color and what they say about your health. #UrineColor #HealthTips #Health Music: 🤍 Summary: Do you have bladder or dehydration issues? According to UC San Diego Health, urine is at least 95% water. But the remaining 5% is a complex of different ingredients that include sodium, chloride, urea, and creatinine. The most common color of urine in our bladder is yellow, which UC San Diego Health says is caused by urobilin, which is a biochemical waste product that is generated from the breakdown of your body’s old red blood cells. Transparent: The UC San Diego Health explains that colorless urine could indicate that your body may be over-hydrated. This is not a direct cause for concern, but they add that over-dehydration can dilute essential salts that can create a chemical imbalance in your blood. If the colors of your urine is transparent, it means that you are not suffering from dehydration. It means that you are drinking enough water, and generally represents that your body is in good health and not suffering the effects of dehydration. Speaking of dehydration, make sure you stick around till the end to find out common signs that you may be dehydrated, and what you can do to hydrate yourself! Pale Color: You are well-hydrated, healthy and normal if you have a pale color urine, says the UC San Diego Health. Your bladder is in good shape! If your urine is pale in color, similar to transparent, it means that you are well hydrated and are not suffering any of the effects of dehydration. Keep it up! You are drinking enough water, and your bodily processes are improved because you are very well hydrated. Yellow: As mentioned already, if the color of your urine is a pale-ish, light yellow, then everything is completely normal. You are hydrated and your abdomen is working perfectly, says the UC San Diego Health. You should only start to worry if your urine starts turning a darker color. The shade of yellow that your urine is says a lot about whether you are hydrated or not. So if your urine is a light yellow in color, have no fear! You are hydrated and your bodily systems are in great condition. So keep drinking that water and keeping yourself hydrated to keep your body in that tip top shape! Dark Yellow: If the color of your urine is dark yellow instead of light yellow, it’s still normal, but it also does suggest that you may be mildly dehydrated according to UC San Diego Health. Remember: the darker your urine becomes, the less hydrated it means that your body is. If you notice that your urine is darker in color, you should hydrate yourself and start drinking more water. If it continues to get even darker, it means that you are becoming more dehydrated. So drink up! Honey or Amber: UC San Diego Health says that if the color of your urine is honey or amber, you might be dehydrated. This is one of the first signs of dehydration. If you notice that your urine is slowly starting to become darker, you should start drinking more water immediately, as it is a sign that you are dehydrated and that your body needs water. Red: If the color of your urine is red, there may be a need to be concerned according to UC San Diego Health. Blood in the urine is called hematuria. In some cases, it can be benign, but in other cases, it can be a sign of infection, kidney stones or even a tumor in the urinary tract. It can also signal that there may be a problem with the prostate. This is a huge red flag and should never be overlooked. If you notice blood in your urine, visit a doctor immediately.
