#FSR2.0 #AMD #XboxSeriesX Today we have groundbreaking news! AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 2.0 is now available on Xbox. We get a live demo of this tech in today's video. I also explain how this new technology works and compare it to Nvidia's DLSS technology. 🤍community.amd.com/t5/gaming/amd-fidelityfx-super-resolution-2-0-gdc-2022-announcements/ba-p/517541/jump-to/first-unread-message
It's basically just free performance for me. I'm using it on Horizon Zero Dawn on PC and it works great, getting far better metrics at 4k using FSR 2.0 on quality mode (which is 1440p) and it looks very sharp-- it really doesn't look like it's blurry downscaled. It's amazing and it'd be silly for all consoles not to snap this up ASAP.
Another thing playstation doesn't have lmao xbox has dobly vision games and fsr and VRR and playstation dose not
Supported on Series S?
they need to add 120 fps to warzone
Low key this is amazing clearly Nvidia has ruined gaming in general I'm glad AMD is sharing this basic tech to anyone with a high end gaming pc to low end basic yet humble gaming pcs out there.
Lol man every time I watch these videos I can barely tell the difference between the various images. Must be my eyesight or how it is displayed through you tube but I don’t see it making much difference to my game play. Enjoyed the video all the same.
I wanna see developers use this for raytracing advantages.
The fact that Deathloop is one of the first games suggests that MS owned studios are going to use it for sure. That alone is a big game changer – especially if MS go back and apply it to existing games. Imagine the gains for titles like Flight Sim and Halo Infinite? I reckon it could greatly reduce the pop in on Forza Horizon 5's performance mode too. I think the fact that its compatible across platforms will lead to broader developer uptake as well, especially if Sony follow with support down the line. Then they just need to do one round of work and it applies to all platforms. In terms of whether its equal to DLSS – from what they have shown it looks comparable. The real test will be fast moving footage. DLSS breaks down a bit at real game speed while it looks great when still or slow moving. How well FSR 2.0 deals with that will be the proof in the pudding. As long as its roughly equal, this will be game changing tech for the console space.
Aun no han confirmado si tiene soporte, ya que no se trata de descargar un programa o un driver,es Hrdware, debe tener instalado unos modulos
I hate it to break it to you!! But did you know this upscaling anti aliasing technique has been used even back in the ps4 era!! Killzone shadowfall a launch ps4 game even used it!! This technique has been used on so many console games specially playstation games!! Even i think a switch game has even used it, FSR is a bigger deal for the pc space!! I love it these channels hype things up wen they have no clue about tech, but then again these same dudes were the ones that been believing phill spencers bullshit from the beginning!! What do you expect 🤷🏻♂️
All these features don't matter! As powerful as the series x is yeah you guessed it. It doesn't matter! Why you ask? Excellent question! None of those things matter because all these developers are not taking advantage or using what is available to them when it comes to the xbox series x! All these games that are optimized are lazy and crappy ports that are made with minimal effort just to slap the X/S tag in Hope's to make more money! Seriously most of these next gen patch upgrades are GEN 9 AWARE which basically isn't a next gen upgrade at all!! None of this matters since the developers aren't using the power like Microsoft advertised when they said that optimized games take advantage of the full power of series x!
If they can do these things on PC then they should simply do them there's no good reason why they don't at least I don't think there is.
Dlss looks a pinch sharper look at those faces on the top left of the comparison.
My question. Will this just work on the consoles or do you need a monitor that supports this. I'm dumb when it come to tech.
Its coming to the PS5 as well, DEE. Slowly and painfully, they'll get it going. As they 1st gotta wrap their brains around making it work with Vulcan.
So god only knows how long a wait that might be.
To be honest, I would rather have my games equipped with next-gen type of graphics at 1080p (4K FSR Performance) than to have it made look sharp at 4K but with graphics no better than last-gen.
Just more proof that we can get way more out of the SS if devs use the features given to them. I wish Xbox had a way to let you use them even if devs don't
My only question, why is the inferior ps5 outperforming the superior XSX? This is not a troll comment. I literally have no idea.
Right ✅️ everything but games the new system coming out soon 2024
